Abady

Check out and share our Abady Interview. This interview is part of our new Producer & Engineer Q&A Series. In this interview series we feature exciting producers, mixing and mastering engineers from all walks of life. As always: Share & Support!

Please introduce yourself real quick. Tell our audience about your background and how you go into doing what you´re doing right now.

Hello Everyone, Abady here, I'm from the Middle East (Egypt), I started getting into music about 3 years ago as a DJ, The genres I liked were not very popular/demanded in Egypt (Dubstep,Trap) or I was just too bad, After almost a year I started getting Gigs Internationally, It was my goal from the start so I was very happy about everything that was going on, And then it hit me, I felt like I'm just stuck! My career wasn't gaining any progress, I asked many DJs/Producers that I look up to and the reality wasn't very pleasing, tbh it was not hard at all to learn how to DJ so it made since that the market was over flooded, I loved what I was doing and did not want to quit, So the only way to grow was Music Production, I started Teaching myself by watching videos all over the place and trying to sculpture my style, I "paused" everything else till I feel more comfortable with Music Production, After releasing a couple of tracks and getting mostly a positive feedback I started to take it more seriously, by learning more about Sound Engineering and experimenting more Complex Plugins, I spent all of 2017 training my skills, by making a track from scratch, and forcing myself to get better quality and more professional tracks and comparing it to a reference track and the previous one I made, 2018 is the Year that most of my Projects will come to life in and I can't wait to Share my work with Everyone.

Please tell our audience what projects have you been working on in the last years?

I work on a very flexible Genres spectrum, From Lo-fi To Hardcore Dubstep, I don't really think about a specific genre to work on, whatever I feel like, but I will try to stick to one project and not jump around projects a lot (at least I try to).

What are you currently working on? Do you accept clients and and what kind of projects/work fits your profile?

I used to Ghost produce to be able to invest more into my Setup, I stopped to focus more on my own Projects, I will release a lot of IDs in 2018 Mainly through Spotify.
