Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am Adam Arthur, an electronic/experimental musician, synthesist, technician, and operator from the United States. I independently run my own record label and sound collective.
How would you describe your style and genre?
I view my style as the sound of me. I feel my productions are edgy, dangerous, and continuously evolving.
Who are your biggest idols ever? Dead or alive, musician or non-musician.
What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
I do not know if I made big mistakes but a part of learning something new is accompanied by error. I would say an important first step is to multi-track all elements to have more precise control of the end product.
How do you get gigs? Can you share any tips?
I get gigs by some self promotion or by word of mouth through friends and colleagues.
What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
My largest challenge is the promotion of myself and the certain sound that defines me. I am beginning to overcome this by sticking to my beliefs and forging my own path.
How do you promote yourself? Do you have any specific promotion tips for other musicians?
I promote myself by having my own professional website and domain. I believe having your own custom website specifically for your vision is very professional and important.
We meet again in one year. What has happened?
Hopefully, I am pushing more extreme envelops, touring to very special places, and bending minds sonically
