Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Israel James, I'm 19 years old and from The Sunshine Coast, Australia. I have been releasing music under the alias Anozira for about 2 years but have a long history with multimedia design and music.
The Anozira projects main concept is to release music that is just pure FUN. Not only for the enjoyment of others and to make people smile, But the concept ironically came from dealing with mental health issues such as Depression and Anxiety.
The concept was to write music the polar opposite to how i was feeling at the time in hopes it would cheer me up, in a sort of "fake it 'till you make it" mentality.
If you were to try and pigeonhole me into a genre i suppose Future Bass or just "Fun Music: works decently!
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years? Do you feel that changing tastes over years as artistic growth? ?
My influences vary a lot, if you checked my itunes library you would be both horrified and confused at the same time.
Some of my bigger musical influences would be Flume, Daft Punk, Gorillaz, Pearl Jam, Elton John, The Bee gees, Snoop Dogg, Chance The Rapper, Slipknot… I could go on all day about Jazz, Metal, Rap whatever… i love it all and take inspiration from all genres.
Generally for smaller artists i'll patrol Soundcloud for hours finding new styles and artists popping up everywhere! (Go check out Trippy Turtle for something you probably haven't heard before!)
What´s new right now?
I have a new EP release coming out in the next few weeks (Date TBA) but here's a hint: Its called "Good Vibes" I'm also planning to revamp my YouTube channel with loads of fun real life video content! Keep your eyes peeled ?

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Worrying too much what people will think of my music (mostly quality wise) and not having enough fun with it. (That's the entire point of Anozira! right??)
