Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey there! I’m APH, DJ/Producer based in Paris, France.
I’m producing seasonal mixtapes and DJ sets for my own Soundcloud Channel as well as others Soundcloud and Youtube channels such as @labellemusique or @ladouceplaylist.
I’m also running my own mixtape series called “Delighting Deep Sessions” which is a seasonal 1Hour DJ set featuring my current track curation, created and mixed to inspire good feelings, and hopefully dance ?
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I’m getting influence from a large panel of style and artists, evolving between acoustic and electronic sounds.
Being a guitar player since 15 years is certainly driving the way I listen, feel the music and making my tastes evolve.
Rock and blues artists such as Moriarty, acoustic pop and soul of Norah Jones, French pop folk of Cocoon, were my first influencers as a guitarist.
Then I came to electronic music discovering popular artists such as The Avener and Synapson, and more underground artists like Tube & Berger, Stereo Express, Vijay & Sofia, Bakermat and many more.
Electronic music is a passion that came later, when a DJ friend of mine shows me what he was doing and how he performed. This opened me a wide new horizon about music, and I was very surprised to see the creation dynamics that exists in this industry.
For today, I get my style and choice of tracks from Deep House and House productions, going from Chill to melodics and groovy nu-disco tracks.
What´s new right now?
Since I was featured for a @1daytrack talent mix a few months ago, a lot of things happen:
I was contacted by @labellemusique a large Youtube and Soundcloud music Channel, in order to produce one of their mixtape from “la belle mixtape” series. It seems that they were happy with the result, since we continue this collaboration and released 3 more sets, which get a hudge number of plays and positive feedbacks. I also released a 2nd mix for @ladouceplaylist Soundcloud Channel.
In the meantime I continued to release my own mixtape series “Delighting Deep Sessions” with 4 new mixes and I’m planning a winter mixtape for the next month. Don’t hesitate to check them on my profile page!
I’m also very happy having reached these milestones: 1K followers and half a million plays on all of my mixes! (Including youtube and Soundcloud) Thanks a lot for that.
Perhaps 2018 will see a first release as a track producer, who knows… ?
