Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I’m a 18-year old DJ/Producer, from Amiens (France). Currently, I study in a Tourism, Events and Hotel Business school in Lille. But in fact, I spend my time producing, mixing and looking for new collaborations with people around the world. It’s in this way that I met Lardry two years ago and that we formed a duo, know as ‘Mr. Hope’. After several months working hard, our first track ‘Everybody’ is out now on the German record company, Future House Cloud : https://soundcloud.com/mrhopemusic/mr-hope-everybody.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I owe this passion for music to my father. As a radio presenter and former DJ, he passed on his love of world of music, concerts, nightclubs to me.
I started listening to electronic music thanks to a David Guetta album (“Pop Life”), when I was 7. So from 2007 to 2011, I really liked Dance and French touch (David Guetta, Martin Solveig, Bob Sinclar, Daft Punk…). Then, from 2012 to 2015, I do as everybody else does…I only listened Bigroom (like Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and many more). And since 2016, I am passionate about House music, especially Future House (as Don Diablo or Oliver Heldens) and Bass House (as Jauz or Antoine Delvig).
However, I’m open to all styles of music, even Pop Rock and Jazz. And I must admit that Imagine Dragons, DJ Snake and Sia are the three artists with whom I dream about working !
What´s new right now?
Today, I’m working on new stuff with foreign artists from Belgium, UK and US, in different styles (RnB/Soul, Trap, House) for 2018.
I’m also working on a Future House track with my French friend, LVR, for my record company (FHC). Finally, there will be new Mr Hope songs, including one with a French singer (ex-candidate of the French TV programme “Nouvelle Star”).
2018 promises to be awesome !
