Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Matt, mostly known as AT4G on SoundCloud. (www.soundcloud.com/letitallout) I started in 2012, and still love being able to get this far.
I’m a 19 year old producer that just loves to do what I can. I enjoy listening to various artists, pertaining different styles and genres, and always intend to expand my own sound upon that. Also love meeting/knowing artists I’m not familiar with.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Over the past five years of learning how to produce, I’ve embarked on listening to many various styles and genres. From music composer Hans Zimmer, to anyone I can possibly listen to on SoundCloud. There’s so many good artists out there!
The music that first inspired me to create: Hans Zimmer’s work in Christopher Nolan’s Inception, Koji Kondo’s wonderful soundtrack in Super Mario Galaxy, and many pieces from deadmau5. These made me understand too well how cool it is to tell a story. Moreso, how wonderful it could be to explore!
A few major examples from EDM are (as already mentioned,) deadmau5 and Porter Robinson. The way that some of these guys can come from a mainstream foundation and have the will and guts to drastically change with releases like “while 1<2” and “Worlds” is astounding. I love those moments where artists finally realize what they want to do, and to break the formula that they might have created themselves. Even before finding my own sound, Savant was my inspriation and standard. He crafted a quality sound while expanding to ideas that seem so unthinkable to mainstream music.
Overall, Electronic or not, there’s a lot of music that is quite impressionable to me. Virtual Riot, Mr. Bill, KOAN Sound, DIVERSA, Tennyson, Duumu, etc… There’s too many.

“I talk to my friends on Discord a ton. We have channels dedicated to music we find and get to check everything out through that.
