Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey! My name is Ben Lepper. I started producing EDM when I was 14, and I'm still going strong 2 years later.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
All my life I've been listening to (and surrounded by) music. I started piano lessons at age 5 and would listen to alternative rock from bands like Muse and U2. When I was about 11, I found myself gravitating towards Top 40 radio. The stuff that got me into EDM in the first place were the producers that dominated the radio during 2012 and 2013. I remember listening to the radio every morning and finding myself enjoying tracks with an EDM influence to them rather than those that don't. I also began watching a lot of gaming videos on YouTube which used a ton of EDM. I started listening to some of the biggest producers at the time (such as Skrillex & Avicii) in my free time, and soon found myself finding out about smaller artists & labels and learning about subgeneres in the months and years that followed. Then, I started getting interested in making my own music, and I started dabbling around with Garageband in 2015. I then got Logic Pro X in March of 2016, and I guess the rest is history.
What´s new right now?
Yeah! There's a lot of cool stuff coming soon! I've got a collaboration coming out next week on Xpanse Records, and another pretty huge collaboration out December 12 on a label that I've been a fan of for years. I'm also working on a new EP and a ton of exciting collaborations that I can't wait to finish and release.

How do you personally discover new music?
I'm in a lot of music communities so I find new artists and music there. There's a lot of good stuff out there that sadly doesn't get noticed that much, so I try to share around stuff I like as much as possible.
