Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Benson Chambers and I am an electronic music producer from London, England. Primarily I create tech house but I also enjoy working in other genres and draw influences from a wide range of sources. Also I am currently in my final year at university, studying for a degree in music technology.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences have always been mainly electronic in nature, but as my tastes have evolved, so too have my influences. With time I have been more expansive in what I listen to, and a lot more willing to experiment with stylistic elements of different genres within a four-to-the-floor rhythm, as is typical of house music. I started listening to house music regularly in 2011 after a holiday which changed my musical outlook, and since then I have not looked back.
What´s new right now?
As I am in my last year at university, my studies have been my main focus and will remain so until next summer; but I am working on an EP as part of my final project. In 2018, I will be releasing more music and aim to start releasing some mixes of my own.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Poor mix-downs: it is really worth getting educated on mixing as it is not acceptable to just have lots of bass within a song (this was my outlook when first composing music).
