Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

Hello, My name is Marco Diamubeni and i’m a Rome (Italy) based producer,dj.
My sound is characterized by a mix of native hip hop attitude with every shape of Electronic music.

I was born in 1991, in Rome where i lived for my whole life.
In 2014 i’ve graduated from Ableton Certified Training Center “Fonderie Sonore” here in rome as a “Ableton Live Producer”.
from then i started my “career” that brought me to release 2 EPs for Sostanze Records NetLabel : Plume EP and Flying Attitude EP.

For the djing side, i always loved club culture and so i grew up cultivating this passion, ending up playing in many Roman clubs for many realities; starting from little ones to arrive to places like Circolo degli Illuminati and Goa Club.
Now i’m Curtiswolf’s (hip-hop,trap,grime party/organization based in Rome) dj resident.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

I was initially
influenced by my mother, a
chorister with a strong passion
for Soul and R&B, in listening especially
Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston
and Lionel Richie among others.
During my teenage years, I got closer to 90s music,
listening to some of the
greatest pop stars of those
years, but also to the American Hip- Hop/Rap music. Growing up, I started to listen to
electonic music (artists like Daft Punk and Justice) and progressive house (Hardwell,
Swedish House Mafia, Aviicii). During his maturity i’ve found myself in liking the trap scene. On an other side approaching Apparat first, and
then Bonobo, made me go into all that electronic, downtempo, experimental world and made me change a lot in my way of listening and “studying” music.

What´s new right now?

I am working on New Music at the moment, i’ve just released an amazing song for SVNSET WAVES compilation Rising Tides 009 that you can listen here :

How do you personally discover new music?
