Bobby Lava is the founder and owner of the international record label: IMUNE ?????? RECORDS. The lable specializes in a darker side of dance; featuring techno, tech-house and minimal tracks. IMUNE was created in 2014 and has slowly built and army of followers around the globe.
Bobby's other record label, COOL CONTEST RECORDS, has a lighter more classic house / tech house sound. With releases from local LA artists and friends from the city he grew up in, Los Angeles California. COOL CONTEST produces small run vinyl releases and throws wild themed events at nightclubs and after-hours warehouses throughout LA.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Aphex Twin was my first major influence in electronic music and still is. I was also infatuated with old DJ Premier and Wu-Tang instrumentals. I fell in love with house music listening to old Green Velvet and Gene Farris. In college I started playing more progressive house and trance music, but I always held a place in my heart for Chicago house. Another major influence of mine is Kevin Saunderson and the original Detroit scene. (Stacey Pullen, Derrick May, Seth Troxler, Model 500, Moodymann, etc) I have been going there for many years as I find inspiration in the city to create new music and party my face off.
What´s new right now?
Right now I have 2 EP's stated to come out in early 2018 on some prominent labels which I cannot disclose at the moment. I also have a live mix coming out on Technique radio and lining up a gig in San Diego for 2018. Plus I am playing a private warehouse on Jan 15th 2018.
