Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Cade Legat, I am a 19-year-old music producer, drummer, and artist out of Seattle, Washington, USA. I have been drumming since I was 8-years-old until I got tired of not being able to write songs with just drums so dived into the electronic music production scene in 2011. Now I do freelance session drumming, music production, and my own music all on my own. I have help from friends of course, because what is music without community?
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influence come from all over. Growing up I was big into the alternative and punk rock scene, but as I got into the music production side of things electronic and hip hop music started taking over. Now I seem to have balance out a little bit more, but still make music with a wide variety of genres. Some of my musical influence have to be Jon Foreman, Darren King, Carter Beauford, Skrillex, and Jack Conte. Which all come from completely different styles of music.
What´s new right now?
I am currently working on the release of my debut single "MONEY SOCK$" which should release early spring of 2018 and should be a great summer hit. Along with that I plan to release my debut album in 2018 with a name I cannot yet reveal. Working on a few live show opportunities for my personal music, but I am always performing live helping out friends who have some great music stuff going on as well. So I'm always staying busy. I am also currently producing DOROVA's debut EP which should be out in Spring. He is a Seattle pop rock artist which has some cool things coming down the pipeline.
