Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Cattt Daddddy is the name.. Killing beats is the game! I'm a 22 year old Rapper from Louisville, Ky in association with CREAM Ent. I do a wide variety of different styles anywhere from the oldshool conscious Hip-Hop to the thrash savage newschool stuff. I love to interact with the crowd and keep everyone on their toes, like i said in one of my latest singles "You come to my shows.. get thrown in the pit.. my fans goin home with some bloody noses"
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I was raised on the classical rock, bands like Led zeppelin, Pink floyd, Rage against the machine. but some of my main influences in hip hop we're of course Eminem, Wu-tang, Ice cube, KRS-One. but as i grew up and developed my own taste i started listening to people like Tyler, the Creator, Chance the Rapper, and Mick Jenkins. I wouldn't say my taste ever really changed, but digging more into the underground scene definitely helped expand my creativity and helped me grow as an artist.
What´s new right now?
Right now i'm working on my first solo album "Cattt Scratch Fever" a concept album based on my life from id say my senior year in high school until now. (which has been one HELL of a ride lol) basically what i want to do is share my experience in a way that the people can feel deep down and also relate to on a lot of different levels. i think the most important thing as an artist is learning to connect with your fans on a personal level while also pointing them in the right direction so they don't have to make the same mistakes you did. other than that we have a few shows coming up around Louisville, working on a small tour right now planning to hit places like Atlanta, Louisiana, Nashville, etc..
