Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
What's up! I am Christian Bistany and I am a 20 year old college kid from the Bronx, NY with a love for House music (G-House/Deep House if we're getting technical). There's something about that open Hi-Hat and groovy bass line that I can't get enough of. I do my best to put as much time as I can into producing, all the while pursuing a college degree as I feel this is important to me.
Through digging around the internet for hours upon end I became more familiar with electronic music in my youth. I started to DJ as a hobby and then wanted more than that, so I picked up a copy of Ableton Live and began to teach myself how to produce. Tutorials after tutorials had my eyes watering, but it all seemed worth it. I eventually fell in love with the scene and the passion that so many people have for all things that make one dance. What originally started as a hobby quickly turned into a part time job, and I'm looking forward to seeing where my music career may end up in the years to come.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years? Do you feel that changing tastes over years as artistic growth? ?
My taste in electronic music has changed rapidly ever since I heard Ghosts N' Stuff by Deadmau5 when I was 15. I've held interest in every genre, and for a while was unable to decide what I really wanted to stick to in terms of making my own music. My early influences drawn from artists such as Flosstradamus, Rusko, Flux Pavillion, and Axwell just to name a few.
In the recent year or so I finally feel like I've developed my signature sound in the area of dance music I love most, House. I've been heavily influenced by the likes of artists such as AC Slater, Claude Vonstroke, Maximono, Kyle Watson, Wood Holly, etc. The list goes on and on and these are just the more well known names.
There are so many dope underground artists that have yet to explode yet. That's why I love digging through the deep depths of web sites like Sound Cloud and Youtube to find the hidden gems. I highly recommend taking the time to look around and give the underground artists a try because every once in a while you'll be blown away.
What´s new right now?
At the moment I'm looking forward to finishing my last year in college and continuing to make as much music as I can. I've been feeling the creativity a lot lately and vowed to myself that I'll be releasing one track a track a month in order to be more consistent. My most recent release in July called 'Laid Back' is actually getting a lot of great feedback with support from a bunch of blogs around the globe. You can check it out on my SoundCloud!
My next release is going to be my first collaboration that I've put out in quite a long time. I'm working with a very talented vocalist and I am super excited to put this one out. You can expect to see it released on SoundCloud by the end of August ?
As for shows, I'll be playing at the Silent Disco tent at Break Away Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio. It's taking place September 1-2nd and it is sure to be a good time so if you're around definitely come catch a bunch of sweet artists.

We meet again in one year. What has changed?
I still make music and love doing it. My long term goals are to be able to travel and play music, but for now I'll be happy to simply still be doing what I love.
