Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Who am I? First up, I'm Cleo Dawg aka Clee Dawgin, Clee Dawg and yada yada. I am 23 and from Mesa, Arizona. I've lived in the DMV and have a lot of close family in different states; which probably helps shape my sound. I'm one of the many young hardworking motherfuckers that been grinding hard out of AZ. ATL and Florida been really popping lately, but give it just a few years AZ is about to explode! But yeah, some may know me from Boat Gang. BGE, the Boat Gang Ent. The Boat stands for "Business Over All Talk", and no we ain't like lil boat. BGE is our house label full of other talented artist as well. You can catch me at a show this year to peep the new energy. I've been playing mostly new music but I might start performing more songs from my album Xombie once more people become more hip. I just a year ago decided to start uploading to Apple Music, Spotify, & etc. My new energy has been feeling great though. I feel in tune with my music as of right now. I promise I'm working on getting my fans more visuals.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I would have to just say my influences music wise range from too many corners; I'm just into too many genres and expressions of music. And it may be pretty cliche to say but life itself is one of my biggest influences for my music; I take in a lot from my surroundings. I use to travel a lot as a kid due to my spread out family, so a lot of my influences come from different times and places in my life.
What´s new right now?
Two Thousand & Eighteen is what's new! 2017; I finally dropped my album Xombie, I just dropped Slump Dawg to end the year off. 2018, I'm dropping new music left & right for you guys, and of course new BGE dropping right & left.
