Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello all!
My name is Colourless and I am a electronic music producer from Miami, FL. I mostly make dubstep but dabble in all other forms of music from House, Hip-Hop, Trap, Chill and everything in between. I like my music to match my personality so there's a lot of references to video games, comic books, cartoons and tv shows. I'm also a huge nerd so you can expect a lot of Nintendo samples and a LOT of bass lol.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When I started making music I was really into writing metal. I loved bands like Killswitch Engage, Trivium, As I lay Dying ( before the…..Well u know) and Slipknot. As I got older I grew a HUGE fascination with electronic music. I listened to a lot of Hardstyle, Trance, Happy Hardcore and fell in love with the darker side of electronic music. Producers like DJ Zany, Donkey Rollers, D-Devils and Tatanka really started shaping the musician I am today. Then after diving a little deeper into aggressive electronic music I heard Flux Pavilion's remix for Freestylers – Cracks and instantly fell in love with Dubstep. That became my main forte and have been making bass heavy music ever since.
What´s new right now?
I have a new EP coming out by the end of November as well as a couple of collaborations that I'm planning on releasing by the end of the year. I'm also in the process of starting up a entertainment company with several other producers and artists friends of mine where we will be streaming games, unreleased music, collaborations, exclusive mixes and tons of other cool stuff.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Don't be shy about putting up our music. I have a discography of music that will never be released because I was too shy to put it out. If you make something that you are proud of, put it out there and don't be scared of criticism.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Getting shows to play at is always a bit of a challenge. The best way to overcome that I feel is to release as much content as possible and give the crowd a reason to want to see you.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
Talk with other artist about music production. It's a lot easier than some people think to message other established artist and ask for help or tips about music production. A lot of them even start a Google Hangouts session where they welcome anyone with questions or to just talk. Don't be afraid to reach out to someone you look up to.
