My name is Victor Tsukarev.
I live in Shahtarsk, Ukraine – Donetsk region. I'm a DJ and sound producer.
I play and write tracks in the style of Techno, Dark Techno, Dark Minimal.
How would you describe your style and genre?
I'm writing tracks in the style of Dark Techno. In fact, the same as Techno, but the sound creates a depressing atmosphere. Pulsating, heavy weight, low-frequency influx crushes from all sides, the ads are pronounced sometimes in a threatening low voice, as if from the darkness, there is a feeling that you were thrown at a nuclear power plant and now everything will explode. It sounds threatening.
Who are your biggest idols ever? Dead or alive, musician or non-musician.
I have seen a phrase that has been remembered to this day: "I have no idols." I admire the work, dedication and skill. "
It is possible to find such a person in any industry.
What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
My biggest mistake was investing in the wrong direction. Now I'm trying to fix everything, and go back to writing tracks. From myself to musicians, I would like to advise you to decide on priorities in life. As well as have patience in this difficult matter.
How do you get gigs? Can you share any tips?
Now I can not say anything about this issue. I have not acted as a DJ for a long time. Because of the current situation in the country and the region. But I will say so, at first I had to negotiate myself for the performance.
What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
My main problem at the moment is that I do not have the opportunity to do what I love. Although this is a temporary phenomenon.
How do you promote yourself? Do you have any specific promotion tips for other musicians?
I try to communicate, always and everywhere, make new acquaintances. The main thing is to expand your social circle.
