Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am currently trying to test time with music. Creating a broad spectrum of influential tracks set to shape the minds of the youth and those struggling. I want to translate through music that there is hope in the world and regardless of all the hostility, violence, and corruption, with a little perseverance to rise up out of that headspace, everybody can live a fuller life. My mission is to make it so each and every listener acknowledge that they are loved. Music binds everything together, it is the fundamental principal that dictates everyone. Back when i used to go by the moniker of my original name "Damian Siurek" i only made party music. But there is something deeper than that. Music is a foundation to expel emotion and messages to awaken and open peoples minds to the better. On my journey, I strive to make my goal to change at least one persons life. Everyone has some sort of pain they wish to mask, some fight depression more than others. Showing them that they aren't alone in itself is one thing that I strive for.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My biggest influence of all time has to be Avicii. He has taught me so much through research, interviews, studio sessions. He is very humbled and an expert in the craft. Moving forward, i got inspired by Odeszas second album "In Return" followed by their third "A moment Apart". Life changing sounds of spirituality and affirmative thinking. I am working on a debut EP (2018) that has many influences from Odesza, Empire of the sun, along with many rock bands including M83, chaingang of 1974, Nahko, red hot chili peppers, the XX, because i am striving for a timeless sound that can live on for generations to come.
What´s new right now?
Currently, i have just completed a remodel of my studio to make it bigger, better, and more powerful than ever to help me transpire my work in the best way possible. I am working on a new 6 track EP and am already planning a second release which would be my debut LP in the year 2019. I have been working hard with many vocalists and have been brainstorming ideas to help mold the way we see music in this day and age. I want to lay down a new foundation and pave a new path so we aren't surrounded by the same familiar idea of dance music. I want to create something we can all feel, something to show us we are all one, we are all loved, and we are all equal.
