My Name Is Mark Salter AKA DEFINITIVE RHTHYMS.
I has been mixing it up on the decks since 1994 from way back in the day to present ..
I comes from a small welsh valley town in south wales United Kingdom (UK)
Through the years I Have been inspired by top DJ such as the Rat pack ,Pete tong ,Carl cox groove rider DJ Hype DJ SS Roni Size Reprazent crew Bristol.
Paul oak-enfold Sasha the producer brand block ,Alex p and the legendary Frankie knuckles and more.
I have what I preserve as an out there style of mixing creating a vibe and atmosphere That is truly second to none as I like to call it taking the music listener clubber festival goer etc. on a journey of music and sound leaving them inspired to want to listen to more of my sets that I have produced /mixed being live or in my personal DJ set up.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
As mentioned Through the years I been inspired by top DJs producers such as the Rat pack ,Pete tong ,Carl cox groove rider DJ Hype DJ SS Roni Size Reprazent crew Bristol.
Paul oak-enfold Sasha the producer brand block ,Alex p Richie Haw ton, Paul Van Dyke, Mark EG, M Zone, Ellis Dee, Easy Groove, Goldie, Bad Company, DJ Marky, shy fx, Slipmat, LTJ Bukem and the legendary Frankie knuckles.
These Legends in their own right has shaped the scene and given it their personal touch classic tracks that have been produced by them that still to this day loved and remember not only by the older music loving generation from back in the day but also the young music lovers of today.
Listening and watching these Djs producers over the years has influences that has made me the DJ that I am and mixing style in the way I produce/mix my sets as for the Djs/produces mentioned above they still influence me to this day and continue to bring something different to the ever changing Music scene that continues to grow daily.
My respect will always go out to them.
Starting off as a hard core techno style Dj Back in 1994 was some what I as I would say down to again my influences mentioned above.
As the years went on my style of music went from hard-core Techno into house and Drum and bass and some trance these styles still influences me still to this present day and will continue to do for the future as for me these are my roots from the beginning as a DJ.
