Read the DFUX Interview below and share it on social media.
Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
DFUX are an English electronic dance music production duo consisting of George Hill & Joss Hamberg. They were originally born in the UK, but met abroad for the first time in Spain where they attended the same school. George & Joss both returned to the UK once they finished their studies and went their separate ways.
After six years of no contact they decided to meetup and were amazed that they both had an interest in writing electronic dance music. Both had studied song writing and music production. After Realising their musical connection they decided to join forces and DFUX was born!
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When we first started writing we had to find our signature sound, it was really difficult to define the exact sub genre to stick to as we like Bass House/ Future House/ Deep House and Big Room House.
After a few weeks of experimenting we manged to find a happy medium between Deep & Future house. We focus on keeping our tracks commercial but also club worthy at the same time. Our influences are Disciples & Niko The Kid
To date, we have released four original singles to showcase our work and you can download them all for free on our Soundcloud Page!

What´s new right now?
We have a lot to acomplish in 2018! Starting with the release of our 5th track which we are super excited about!
Our main focus this year is to launch our music to a larger audience, to do so we will be branching out by collaborating with other known artists and also cutting a few remix’s which will really help with exposure.
We are also putting together a few mixes of our favourite tracks so please follow us on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter for updates and the release date of our latest track! ? Bring on the summer!!!!!!

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
Deadmau5! We love his music and his big mouse head! The reason why we are superfans is because he writes the music he wants to for him and doesn't care what people think of him or his music.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
The best advice we can give you which really helped us develop our production skills is to constantly compare your music with 2-3 professionally released tracks in the same genre. By doing so you will answer most questions!

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?
It might sound mad but when we feel that we are struggling to finish a track we will put it to one side and leave it for a couple of weeks, its amazing how many ideas flow when you come away from it!
