Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I'm Josh, a twenty year old music producer from Cologne (Germany) and I go by the artist name of eedion. I mainly produce future house music at the moment, but I feel like there is still a lot of genres I will experiment with in the future. Besides getting my tracks played at festivals like MTV Mobile Beats Cologne or Titania Festival, I recently released my single called "Bloodberry" with the Italian duo 'Infection' in June 2016 on Armada Deep, which got supported by Martin Garrix, Fedde Le Grande and more. Additionally, I made a lot of remixes of popular tracks like 'Love me again' by John Newman, who are all up for a free download on my Soundcloud.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I first started producing with the attempt to record an album of my own Rock band at the age of 10, and then after getting inspired by the likes of Pendulum, Zedd & Justice I slowly developed my own style. I still listen to a lot of rock music in general, but at the same time I'm in love with Jazz & Big Band Music as well. In terms of electronic dance music though, I feel like my taste changed from Big Room & Mainstage EDM (like Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike etc.) in 2013 to Future House (like Tchami, Don Diablo etc.) and underground stuff such as Confession, Blanc & WOLV Records.
What´s new right now?
Actually, I got a lot of new music coming up in the beginning of 2018, starting with my single 'Stronger' feat. KTYKT on Lacuna Records on the 20th of December. Then for January & February, I already signed two other tracks and in general I have a lot of ID's in store that are hopefully going to be released in mid 2018.

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
Mike Shinoda, the singer, song writer & keyboarder / guitar player of Linkin Park. I just can't put in words how much I adore this man for all that he has done in his life. He is truly the most inspiring person for me since the very beginning.
In the field of electronic music, Zedd aka Anton Zaslavski influenced me more than anyone else. I would literally do anything to have a beer with this guy!

Do you have good promotion tips for other musicians?
I personally started with submitting my tracks to "free download labels" on Soundcloud, which is a pretty decent way to grow a small but loyal fanbase in my opinion.

How do you personally discover new music?
Mostly through Soundcloud, I'm really active there and follow a lot of great artists. Sometimes, artists that I like a lot repost music of more unknown artists, which is a great way for me to broaden my musical horizon.

Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?
“I remember when I was in school, I always showed my favourite tracks to my friends when I discovered something new in the breaks. I did not really change a lot, hahaha.
