Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Elias Tayyar, I am better known as “ETAY”. I left my country Syria a year ago, and started over here in Canada. I started DJing as a hobby 6 Years ago, As i used to do some mashups from time to time and thats how I started my soundcloud profile in 2012. Later, in 2015 I got my first support, then i started receiving supports from a lot of DJs, like Garmiani, SaberZ, Luka Caro, Daav One, And many more. Furthermore, 5 months ago I started producing, and my buddy Karaziwan and I released a track called “Psycho”, It was the first original track for both of us. I am currently working on a very promising music that is going to be released soon.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
As i said it started as a hobby, then i felt that i have to share my passion of music with the people around me. So, I decided to start uploading my music on Soundcloud, and that’s how my music grew day by day. As people change as they grow up till they’re reach maturity, my taste definitely changed with time. I entered this field because of the Electro House Music, but now I’m a big fan of BigRoom music, and that’s what I’m producing at the moment.
What´s new right now?
At the moment I am working on a remix for "F.T.H (F*** The Haters)" By Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Hardwell, I will release it soon. There is a project in progress with my buddy Karaziwan. About the gigs, there is a lot of offers this winter but i don't know if i am going to accept any of them because I am trying to manage my time between studying and producing. The only information I can give about my gigs is that hopefully I will be performing this summer in a place close to my heart.
