Hey yall, my name is $excell$!
I’m a DJ & Producer in Las Vegas, NV. I produce Moombahton. Currently, I’m working on a lot of new music and releases. There’s Moombahton, some House, Jungle Terror, and even some Trap/Hip Hop stuff I’m dabbling with.
There’s often alot of confusion with my artist name haha.
So the “$ex” is my music, it’s something that makes me feel good and I want to share that feeling with everyone. But I also want people to get dirty on the dance floor. The “Cell$” are the people. I use my music as a means to connect people from all different walks in life and places around the globe.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences have always been Hip Hop, Classic Rock, Punk, and ANY type of Latin Music.
My ethnic background is Creole and Spanish. So growing up, I was exposed to different types of music, culture, and dance. A good majority of my childhood has been spent in the record shops with my mom. It’s always been music for me.
I wouldn’t necessarily say my taste has changed but more like evolved. There’s so much GOOD and wholesome music out there these days that has yet to be discovered, stuff that isn’t just forced upon you in the mainstream. You have to find it and then share it. Lately, I’ve been listening to this band from Australia that was shown to me by someone special called “Sticky Fingers”. They just have that sound man.
What´s new right now?
Right now I have my first release of 2018 titled “Go Hard” about to drop in a couple weeks on House Party Records! It’s not Moombah as people might expect from me, I don’t even know what it is really haha. One things for sure, it’s gonna make you move!
Recently, I had the opportunity to share the stage with ArmNHammr, PhaseOne, Destructo and Slushii in front of a huge crowd and that was wild! It’s always fun to see how people react to the music that you spend your time creating and just seeing everyone have a great time.
Other than that, near the end of 2017 I released my 1st EP that was also my first Label release entitled “Gumbo”, on La Clinica Records. The track ‘Gumbo’ got support from SpydaTek on his “Globalization Sessions” radio show on SiriusXM. All these things have pushed me to establish myself and work harder each day. What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Just don’t doubt yourself.
Always stay humble and eager to learn. Find a mentor and if you can’t look online for tips and tricks.

I just look on the internet or on soundcloud for lesser known artists and you’ll be surprised at the gems you find.
