Read the EYEZIC Interview below and share it on social media.
Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name's Christian. I'm a music producer based out of Fairfax, Virginia. Never really thought I'd have an interview of my own, but this is pretty sweet. I'm 24 years old and have been producing for almost a year now (pretty unreal). I've never really had the attention span, or the motivation to really sit down and try one thing before getting tired of it and moving on to the next. My parents had always wanted me to be musically talented such as playing the piano, drums, trombone, etc. I tried doing it all but never really got a grasp on it until February of last year, where I decided to download Ableton and making stuff of my own other than DJ mixes.
I've been mixing for about a little over a year now and have been lucky to have traveled up and down the east coast at local college's, fraternity houses, venues, playing the music that inspires me, inspires others, and as well as playing out my own projects for the crowd to fully get a grasp of what EYEZIC is all about.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I try to work on a beat a day, no matter how sloppy or random. It builds knowledge and helps me figure out what I like to do and what sounds I develop, throughout this process I try to create my own synths or sounds to keep my tracks original, other than trying to mock up someone else's work.
My biggest influences currently are Flume, Medasin, Ekali, Manila Killa, San Holo, Louis the Child, Louis Futon, there are probably a few others on that list so my apologies if I forgot haha.
at first my style of music was very bro-step/dubstep/riddim-y to where I was listening to artists such as Phaseone, Kill the noise, Virtual Riot, Getter, Borgore, almost daily. I then got into this mood of Bass house to where I was jamming out to Jauz, Joyryde, Brohug, up until I had kept making these lo-fi hip hop beats and then the style of future bass just kinda came to play from there. It's not that it's easier to make, because I love to challenge myself, but I also love to tell a story through the different percussion that I create or effects that I include in my tracks.
My manager likes to consider my music "romance" which is kind of what I go for in a sense of what I try to create. I don't necessarily want you to make love or make out to my music, I just want you to simply feel loved.
These two mixes below describe what I have made over the past couple of months, as well as some unreleased music as well from myself and the boys ;).

What´s new right now?
Oh boy, where do I begin.
when I meant 2018 was going to be the year to rise, I truly meant it.
I've currently gotten in touch with the promoters of Nu Androids: A growing production that books major artists such as Flamingosis, Graves, Medasin, Manila Killa, etc. and they have reached back with future show dates to be a supporting artist.
I've also gotten opportunities through Club Glow (An agency here in Washington D.C. to have me as an opening artist for other artists in the genre I specialize to be an opening act for, so slowly but surely getting my foot in the door.
I'll be traveling to the University of Alabama for yet another show for them, this'll be my 4th time down there since April of 17' which is exciting because these are people looking for direct support for the Artists that are being booked for Fraternities, and have been frequently messaged by asking for my return to show them some love ? <3
A couple Festival lineups have been discussed through my manager, alongside with my homies Pryces & Galvanic, but I'll keep that a secret until the posters are released.
I have made a couple of very talented Producers such as Pryces, & Galvanic, which we have a VERY special project coming up within the next couple of months that we've been working on since September of 17'. I also have a couple of releases with Pryces, and a couple of features with some other artists as well, it's been an incredible opportunity to meet such cool people who love what I love to do.
if you guys ever want to check me out, listen to some music, or to even say hello, feel free to follow me on my social media ?
