Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My artist name is Febration, a combination of my initials (F&E) and vibration. It took me a long time to find the perfect name, but now I go with it for 1.5 years and I still like it a lot and think it's representing me. I am from Austria and 20 years old, finished school last year in June and now I have to do my alternative service in lieu of military service till June 2018 here in Austria.
In those 1.5 years lots of things were going on in my artist life: I produced many tracks, released on the biggest labels in Austria and played many gigs.

You'll wonder about Geordo, because I did many tracks with him together. He's my little Irish boy and I really appreciate to work with him, because our styles are going well together.
I dare to say in 2018 my best tracks and collabs are going to be released, but I am unfortunately not allowed to tell you more. Just one thing: Don't miss them!
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I would say Skrillex was the one who inspired me a lot, I was listening to him on YouTube for many hours each day, always the same tracks but they were just so awesome for me. I also watched many live sets and thought how awesome it has to be to get people dancing. That was a few weeks before christmas and I told my mum about that and she surprised me with a DJ-controller on Christmas eve. I started to mix some of Skrillex tracks and got interested in more so I downloaded some Dubstep tracks and played around.
One day I recorded my first mix, put it on Soundcloud and showed it to my friends. They said it would be cool and I got motivated to do more mixes. By the way I listened to those mixes some weeks ago and they are really awful… (laughs)
Some months passed and then I started watching Youtube vids about producing. In the meantime I started listening to Future House and felt in love with Don Diablo. A future dream was to release a track on Don Diablo's label Hexagon, but my first tracks sounded like shit and it took me a long time to get my productions more professional. I think after one year of producing (I really produced like 5-7 hours a day) I got something and called it "Feel Free", showed it to some friends, who were producers too, and they confirmed my opinion and supposed to send it out – this was my first time sending a demo to labels. Bizzarely Hexagon was coming back to me (I was really suprised) and told me that they like it and that they will listen again with the whole A&R team. That was a very important moment in my career, pushing me to make more music.
Sadly Hexagon never came back to me again but I released on the biggest label in Austria "Balloon Records". Of course, I was really happy and excited about releasing my first track on such a big label, so this gave me the believe that my music is good and, as said before, took me to make more music. That's the story how everything began (laughs).
As you can see my taste changed from Dubstep to Future House in the first year. To be honest I never came away from Dubstep till now but I would say there are two pieces of Febration, the commercial one and the underground one. I always try to show both sides when playing gigs but in Austria the underground genres are not really popular, so I sometimes have to suppress my love to underground music and play seperate sets in underground clubs. It's hard for me to decide what I prefer, I can't say.
What´s new right now?
I would like to show you one track which I'm really in love with, but I'm not allowed to. But I can tell you that it will just take some weeks to be released, we are already in the contract making with the label. This track means a lot to me and I put all my feelings into it – be excited! It will be on Spotify, Youtube, etc. soon. There will be some cool collabs too!
