Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hello everyone, im Feyo a 26 years old Venezuelan Dj and Producer who mainly focus on playing and producing Progressive and EDM. I started Djing back in 2008 at house parties and i haven´t stopped since, moving from there to local clubs always delivering great energy in my performances.
In 2015 I caught the production bug and started making my own music because i wanted to create the music that i enjoy listening so much. With a only a DAW and all the motivation in the world i started learning more and more about the whole process of creating an electronic song, i started with some bootlegs and mashups at first but when i felt more confident with my skills i moved into making my own original tracks which led to my big first record deal, "Everything" with Push2Play Music, a vocal progressive track that has lot of energy and received great feedback.
I keep working hard, learning every day new things that i put into my songs, loving every minute that im able to dedicate to creating music, hopefully making tracks that people will enjoy as much as i do.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
The first electronic song that i ever listened to, and honestly still love to this day, was Adagio For Strings by Tiesto; That song was so amazing and drag me into the electronic world, it completely change my musical tastes which shifted from mainly R&B and rock to full on electronic head. At first i listened to a lot of Trance by such like Tiesto, Armin, Paul Oakenfold and many more.
As music evolved my taste did too, i moved into the electro house and progressive house scene, enjoying the hard hitting drops, dark leads and overall awesome vibe they gave me.
When i started producing (around 2015) my main influences were Hardwell, Ummet Ozcan, W&W, Blasterjaxx because they had so much energy, such clean tracks that were getting played around all the festivals in the world and i wanted to create tracks like those too. Those influences gave me tracks like "Boundless" (my first finished track) and many others.
Over the past couple of years i still find relevant those Djs and producers when it comes to influencing my music but i also like to listen the "new comers" like Olly James, Kevu, R3spawn and others like it because they like to push the boundries of their genres and i want to do the same. Those sort of influences inspired me to create track like "Higher".
What´s new right now?
2018 is going to be a great year, i have been working on a lot of new songs taking influences from all sort of genres like Big Room, Trap, Hybrid, Progressive and Bass House combining them and creating what i consider them to be bangers. All through the year they will be coming out and hopefully love them too.
Beside that i´ll be retaking my weekly podcast "Shout Louder" which is a one hour mix of the best music of the week along side with a personal mashup, which i give for free on my website, so people have something to listen to before they go out partying.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
The most important tip i can give any producer out there is to practice as much as possible, it doesnt matter if its only half an hour a day or a whole day session, any time you spend producing is time that will improve your skills. So don´t let that stop you and think that if you can´t work on your music for hours a day you won´t get anywhere.
Just practice, get to know your DAW and plugins inside out and work hard and you will be amazed with the results.
