Hey! I'm a producer of EDM and I use FLStudio.
I have been producing for about 1 and a half years now, and finally, i have now started to get to the point where my tracks actually sound good. I'm currently experimenting many different genres such as future bass, progressive house, and future bounce in order to find my sound. I hope you enjoy my music and this interview!

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I think my taste in electronic music has stayed quite the same. When i started it was because of Martin Garrix, so i guess i liked the type of music he produced. Now I have taken an interest in future bounce and future house after becoming more familiar with artists like Brooks, Mike Williams, and Mesto. With my new tracks, i want to do something influenced by all the genres I like.
What´s new right now?
I have just released my new track with DAV5 called Infinity ( https://soundcloud.com/filabbax/filabbax-dav5-infinity ). I also have loads of new projects coming soon and a special release where I am working with a vocalist.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Dont instantly send your music out to labels. When you first start, it WILL sound bad. Dont feel discouraged if someone says your music sucks. Keep going and you will get better.

Do you have good promotion tips for other musicians?
I always send my tracks to song of the week contests such as the TeamMBL one. If you get in the top 10 or even win you get loads of exposure.

Do you have insights on how to grow your audience on soundcloud that you want to share with our audience?
Build relationships with other artists. This is key. Every time you release a new track send it out to them.

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
Every producer has moments where they feel bad about their music and want to give up. Its really difficult to overcome. I always manage to motivate myself and keep going because i love producing.

learn sound design to be more unique and when asking for feedback make sure they give 100000 percent honest feedback.

Hopefully by then i will have gotten a few label deals and will be starting to develop my own sound / developed my own sound.
