Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

I am Chris aka Final Conflict, originally from Stockport I now live in Margate. I'm a DJ first and foremost but I have produced a few tracks in the past, however now i'm increasingly finding myself in the studio making tunes. Anything goes with me, doesn't matter the genre as long as it makes you skank out on a dance floor. I love to switch genres and tempos during sets….and it tends to always get filthy, like my latest track below:

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

I'm hugely influenced by The Prodigy, their album "The fat of the land" is one I still listen to all the way through from start to finish and mainly the reason I wanted to make music my career. I also love the band Hybrid, their fusion between the organic and electronic, syncopated beats and those big emotional cinematic sounds get me every time.

I've always been a fan of music in general, taking influences from pretty much anywhere, new and old, and I think that will never change, there are so many great producers out there at the moment but i'd have to say the sounds producers such as Joyryde, Eptic and Jauz are knocking out at the moment are right up my street.

What´s new right now?

I've recently had a bit of time off from being "Final Conflict" and for a short time I was an agent however that didn't work out as when it came to a choice between agent or DJ I chose the latter (I could never give up DJing!!). Leaving the scene in that way did mean my gigs suffered but I have also been DJing under the name uNdUN, more on commercial tip but heavily routed in funk, soul and R&B and this has led to a few residencies around London. But now its time for "Final Conflict" stuff again, I've got more edits on the way and will be launching a new label later in the year. Keep in touch by following the pages below

Listening to the radio, online shows too. hypeddit.com is a great resource for some great unsigned tracks and Spotify can give you some gems if you go on a discovery mission from time to time.
