Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Well, I'm a DJ, a rapper, and also a music producer. My name is Fouros, and I'm from Malaysia. First of all, let me talk about my DJ part. I play most of the genres, from hip hop, drum and bass, trance, bounce, electro house, hardstyle, and other genres. But mostly I focus on hip hop, R&B, commercial, POP, electro & progressive house, bounce, and bigroom. And then I'm also a hip hop rapper and music producer. I produce my own music and also write lyric. But all my lyric is in chinese. But don't worry, you all still can enjoy the music and the feeling.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My first influence is Eminem. I like hip hop is because of him. I like his skills, lyric, and spirit. His songs are so great, emotional, so many thoughts and feeling inside, make you feel like you are inside his world. My second influence is my DJ mentor, DJ Point. He is a DJ and also music producer in a chinese hip hop group, called Manhand. He is the one who bring me into the DJ field and teach me on it. Without him, I'm still in a lost. My third and lastly influence is also my another DJ mentor, DJ Bryan Burger. He has been in DJ industry many years and now still active. He is like a guiding star in my life path. He guides and shapes me into a good personal. So that I can be a role model for juniors and friends also.
What´s new right now?
Currently I'm working a club every night, playing all those EDM music. The crowd there quite enjoy and I get positive feedback from them. And now I'm producing 3 hip hop songs and 1 R&B songs. All by myself: from lyric, music, and mastering. And I hope I can release them before end of this year.
