Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

My name is Bruno Gabriel de Oliveira, my "stage name" is galbeh (which comes from a joke / abbreviation with the name of the city where I come from, translating into English would be something like Army General Sheep, so "gal" would be a abbreviation of general and "beh" the sound that the sheep do), I am currently 26 years old and I live in Florianópolis, Brazil. I started as a DJ at age 19, (in the distant year of 2011) in the city from where I come in the interior of Paraná (General Carneiro), the neighboring state. I started opening and closing concerts of some of the country folk and gaucho bands (a regional rhythm that is very successful here in the south of the country). Over time I gained some recognition and then I played several parties in the region where I lived. That's where I decided to start producing my own songs, to gain recognition beyond that region (and also why I realized that producing was a key factor in getting some success).

It was then that I decided to do a course of music production besides a DJing (until then I played only with knowledge acquired on the internet and by notions of my own, basically) at AIMEC Curitiba.

At that time I was more inspired by EDM artists in general, such as Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nicky Romero, among others. So I started producing electro house and did not release anything until I thought I was good enough for it.

Because of that, I did another production course, this time online at Felippe Senne's Make Music Now. It was after this course that I released my first tracks in 2016, present on a Melbourne-style bounce EP by the North American label Gurl Tok Recordings (a funny fact is that one of the EP songs I produced from an audio sent to me via whatsapp).

In the year 2017 came my last release this time by Gardash Records, titled "Get Down."

More releases are coming and with ever better quality. Nowadays I am inspired by artists such as Croatia Squad, Calippo, Daniel Portman and others.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

Well, my initial influences were artists like David David Guetta, Hardwell, Nicky Romero in that boom that happened thanks to the popularization of festivals like Tomorrowland.

In my most melbourne bounce phase, when I decided to focus more on a single aspect of EDM, there were artists like Will Sparks, Timmy Trumpet, J-Trick, Brynny, among many others of the genre.

Currently, I have heard everything from techno to jackin house, sometimes even through electro house and brazilian bass (which I consider more electro than deep, but anyway), however I have preferred to follow house artists even as Croatia Squad , Calippo, Lika Morgan, among others of which I intend to produce something within this genre.
