Read the Ghost Host Interview below and share it on social media.
Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Thanks for taking the time to check me out. My name is Ghost Host, a DJ/Producer out of Sacramento, California. I've been mixing for a little under five years and producing for four. I've always had a passion for music and the creative arts but EDM is the route I wanted to go down. I play everything from dubstep to house to glitch hop, I just love to DJ in general. I also produce vaporwave, house and dubstep but want to expand to other genres.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I grew up listening to a lot of rock, rap and pop jams that my father would show me. He would make me mixtapes and show me all his favorite tunes from back in his day. He has great taste! That was how I discovered a few of my artists. To name only a handful that have inspired me: Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk are just of some of the names that come to mind.
What´s new right now?
I'm currently working on a new promotion mix that is close to being done. I always try to put as much effort as I can into them so that they actually have some longevity with my listeners. I like them to tell a story. I'm also always working on new tunes and trying to find my sound. Follow me on my socials to stay updated. Thank you for your time!
