Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
So yeah. My name is Kristoffer Reinman.I am 27 years old and i am a Music Producer/Artist/Dj From Stockholm Sweden.
I Producer music under my Pseudonym Gritbeat thru witch i create a sound inspired by Hip-hop/Techno/Trap. Bass and Electronic music basicly.
Been around music since i was a kid and started to produce music around 13 when i had access to a pc full time.
Started off creating Trance and House music but slowly moved over to Bass driven sounds and the Techno/Hip-Hop sounds after i progressed in learning my craft.
To keep it short im just a chill guy who loves to create and have a good laugh now and then haha.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Im influenced by a big set of genres and sounds.
The sounds that inspire me range from music from the 40s to present. From R Dean Taylors track "ghost in my house" (and later on Moby and Chemichal brothers) to sounds from producers like Slugabeat and Lunice.
I think my taste has changed mostly from how i have grown as a individual and a producer as well as thru things that has happened in my life and whats inspired me at those moments, good or bad.
So yeah i would definitely say my taste has changed over time.
What´s new right now?
Well i am in the middle of putting together a EP right now for release this year. I plan to be releasing two this year as a independant producer. Outher than that i working on growing even further with my craft and see what happends next.
