Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Hugo, I am French and I am a Dj in the most beautiful city in the world which is Paris.
It's been a few years that I mix in several nightclubs and Parisian nights with my music collective (Wanderlust, 9B, Rouge Pigalle, La machine du moulin rouge, Malibv, Pigalle, Macumba, La Plage, Batofar, Panic Room & more…).
The first time I created this soundcloud page was first of all to share the music I loved with my friends. And little by little I began to mix with my friends and then we created our own music collective. From there I started to create mixtapes and to post more and more music on my soundcloud page to influence the people who listen to me every day. By creating this soundcloud page I wanted to show my audience and people who follow me that there was not only commercial music. I want to allow artists little known or who is beginning to be known to be even more listened to. I wanted to highlight these artists first, hence the name of my page "High-Light".
I think it's very important to love what we do in life and to highlight artists and people who give their all to create a sound or a music.
I am really passionate about music, photography and art in general and that's why I love what I do and share with others around the world.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
When I was younger I first listened to rock music (The Libertines). And now I listen to more and more very rhythmic music. I mix and I like to listen to House music (Kerri Chandler), Brazilian Sounds, African Beats, Disco (Kool & The Gangs), Funk, Jazz, Soul, Ambient, New Disco (FKJ), Electro (Daft Punk) & more.
