IMMINENT

Check out and share our IMMINENT Interview. This interview is part of our new Labels in the Spotlight Series. In this interview series we feature exciting labels from all over the world. As always: Share & Support!

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your label. Where are you based, what genres & styles do you cover… And when/how how did it all start?

IMMINENT Recordings is a fast-growing international collective of music artists, a particular feature of which is the creation and futher improvement of modern, eloquent and skillful sound. At the core of all musical projects lies a progressive outlook on music, with an emphasis placed on major and true sonic attributes and properties. The top priority for our artists is the complete realization of contemporary art creative potential, as the modern art is the key technique of spiritual and intellectual perception of the world currently.

Our goal is to create the perfect portal into the current age with all of its unique characteristics.
The music of our creative collective is the embodiment of outmost technical complexity, adequately representing sensuality, emotionality, beauty, ingenuity, harmony and singularity of our time. The musical projects of our collective our aimed at achieving the status of cultural milestones and at fullfilling their aesthetic potential completely.

During the first two years of existence, the quality of music output on the label has been improving exponentially, thanks to the robust foundation of first works on label. That allowed the collective to form its own unique style and aesthetic set of tools. The high amount of quality music material at one place let IMMINENT Recordings occupy its own particular niche and achieve success and recognition of experienced audience that constantly seek for new and authentic sonic discoveries.

While originally the music released on the label was heavily inspired by the future garage style of uk bass electronic music, currently we're mostly focused on releasing the best experimental atmospheric electronic music without any strict stylistic limitations.

IMMINENT. You can’t hide from our sound.

What are some releases our audience simply must check out? (Either new stuff or evergreen classics)

We treasure each title released on our music label and we really appreciate the support of the artists. And since it's sometimes important to highlight certain releases, we recommend checking out Night Music LP by Twisted Psykie, Equilibrium LP by Dashevsky, IMMINENT Collection by timmies, IMMINENT – Collection: Unworldly and Natural Phenomena EP by LowXY. We also highly recommend giving our compilation releases (Florescence, Excellence, Amplification, Naissance, IMMINENT and Bipolar) a listen.

Are you looking for new artists to sign or collaboration partners? (Be it media partners, remix competitions or otherwise?)

We're looking for talented young artists in a variety of art media, not for music producers only, because our music label is slowly tranforming into a massive art project, featuring not only electronic music releases, but also the visual content, contemporart art pieces, art critique etc. Each upcoming release on the label will be scrutinized, because we hold very high quality standarts. That's why we prefer solid quality content over a contstant string of music albums.
