Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hi! My name is Invader Zimm :). I am a 20 year old producer from the bay area now living in Los Angeles working towards my goal of being a successful music producer. I make all types of genres from rock to dubstep and even hiphop. I've always loved all different types of music, however there has never been an artist that make all genres and i want to be able to have something for everyone. My music comes from the love I have making it and the heart warming satisfaction of bringing happiness to other people through sound.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Growing up i listened to a lot of old rock like Zepplin, CCR, and Jethro Tull. As i began learning more about music I started listening to more punk rock like Blink-182 or Bowling for Soup. Once I got to high school is when i really started listening to a lot of electronic music like Skrillex, Deadmau5, and Noisia. I never stopped listening to anything I still love all the old classics.
What´s new right now?
I am trying to release a "Future Bass" EP with about 6 or 7 songs. I have 4 completed so far and you can hear some sneak peaks on my soundcloud ("Kuro 3.0" and "Days and Nights"). I very excited to share my love of music with you all! thank you so much for the interest in interviewing me!!!
