Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Jason Chon, I was born March 25, 2000, in New York. I moved to South Korea in 2014 and still live here as of right now. I am an instrumentalist as well as a producer, and I always strive to put more acoustics in electronic music and vice versa. I am mostly self taught in terms of the instruments I play and what I produce, but I manage to get by and make what I want with the limitations I have. I am always open to collaboration because, as I mentioned before, I live in South Korea despite not being able to speak Korean. I have not been able to meet anybody who shares my passion for producing and music while also being able to speak english so I have been struggling quite a bit. That being said I am always open to collaborations. My soundcloud is here:

And if you like what I do and want to work together all ways of contacting me are on my soundcloud bio.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences come from all over the place. It's hard to put a finger on the genre that I produce because I kind of just produce whatever sounds good to me, whether it be RnB or Trap or Boombap. I would say that initially (and this was all the way back in middle school) I had my dubstep phase. Obviously Skrillex took up a lot of space on my iPod but other artists like Swedish House Mafia and Test were there as well. I then got into the 80's and 90's decades and listened to a lot of Phil Collins, AC/DC, Toto, etc. Along with those searches a lot of old school Hip Hop was recommended to me, which led to modern contemporary Hip Hop and Trap as well. People like DJ Premier, Nas, Wu-tang Clan, a Tribe Called Quest, and Beastie Boys to Kendrick Lamar, Odd Future, Schoolboy Q, and Joey Badass. The Hip-hop eventually led me into Jazz (as I got hooked on producing Boombap for a while) and so I listened to Miles Davis, Tony Bennet, Rod Stewart, Jim Hall, and Bill Evans. Along with coming to South Korea the RnB and Hip Hop industry really took me by surprise and I listened to artists like Dean, Zion T, Crush, and Zico.
What´s new right now?
As of right now I'm sort of just going with the flow of everything. I recently got accepted into Berklee College of Music and I am hoping to take my music to the next level and create a strong following online by increasing my online presence and creating more content. I have a part-time job where I DJ at a restaurant (owned by my father's friend) but other than that nothing too exciting. As stated before I hope to increase my following base and hopefully by then I can get more serious offers and opportunities for making music. In the meantime I just have to make more music. Again if anyone likes what I do please follow or contact me on my soundcloud page. I also have a Youtube channel that is basically just my soundcloud with videos but I'm planning to upload different kind of videos there too.
