Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

Hello everyone, My name is Jason Wnks and I am an electronic music producer from Toronto, Canada. I was born in 1997 and have had an interest in music from a young age. My music often varies within the EDM genre but most often, I produce tropical, chill out music with the use of modern and vintage synthesizers. My first single came out last year called "10 000 Feet Up". Lately, I've been working on music with other producer and singer-songwriters from around the world and started talks and networking with many different labels.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

Growing up I often listened to older music from the 60's and 70's such as the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. When I started to understand the art of production, I started looking up to greats such as Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix and Sam Feldt. Lately, Petit Biscuit and Kygo have influenced me towards a more modern approach to making music in the studio. But I also use landscapes and scenery to influence me on how I feel and towards what I create.

What´s new right now?

Currently, I am working with many different people and producing many different sounds. I hope to release a few singles within the next couples months and hopefully an EP later this year.

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

I became a super fan of Martin Garrix because of how he accomplished so much at such a young age. His music has always been new and unique.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?

For me, my biggest mistake was copying and pasting others songs. Such as producing a song that is exactly like others. My advice would be to make something different and something unique and special to you.
