I go by the name of JiJi Beats, or just JiJi. I'm a 17 year old producer that loves making beats for fun really.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences have changed mostly due to the fact that I listened to countless genres of music and couldn't decide which I wanted to make myself. Until I found Retnik Beats on youtube and he instantly became my idol amd influenced me to make trap
What´s new right now?
I have a few beats that are in the works but I had to take a break to focus on exams for school. But they should be released really soon.

I became such a fan because I really loved their style and how they made their beats sound

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
The biggest mistake I made was rushing to learn everything and thinking I knew everything. One tip I would give to newcomer musicians would be do not rush to learn everything. Take it one step at a time and make sure you understand what you just learned.

My biggest challenge right now has been beat block. It's the hardest thing for me to overcome but I still manage to do it.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
One tip I would give learning scales and how to utilize the for melodies and chords. It could take you to a while new level of production

What is your best tip for those who struggle with finishing their tracks?
If you're having trouble finishing tracks, take a break. Come back to it later. Do something that diverts you from the track and come back later with a clear head

My plans for the next 12 months is to start sending my music out for placements and slowly but steadily start making income from my music
