Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey guys! I'm a hip hop DJ based in beautiful Sydney, Australia. I have always loved rap music, rnb, disco and soul. I love playing shows where I can play old and new music. I always bring a party vibe to the dance floor. I'm told I jump around a lot when I play too….
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My main influences have been hip hop and rnb artists of the early 2000s, as this is the music that I grew up with and reminds me of highschool house parties. I also love early 90s rap as well as disco from the 80s. A lot of hip hop/rap artists today sample music from the 70s, 80s and 90s so I think it's important to investigate these samples and get an understanding of which artists have helped paved the path for today's music. See who inspires who. The DJs who I look up too are Craze, Kaytranada and Nina Las Vegas. I love the variety of what they play in their sets. They all DJ really differently from eachother too, which has shown me a few different ways to play!
What´s new right now?
What is new for me now is my Instagram account (yes I was hiding under a rock for the last 8 years). Right now I'm trying to grow this, so I can use it as my main platform for promoting my mixes, gigs and talking to fans. I love bass music!! I have so many tracks saved up that I don't get many opportunities to play. Stay tuned for that.

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
Kaytranada. My tattoo artist told me about him once day and I had a listen. I was hooked at that point. I found out about him in 2013 so he wasn't that well known in Australia. Luckily, my favourite club Chinese Laundry were already on to him and brought him out to play a show. Saw him for $15! Anything Kaytranada makes or remixes, I dig. I feel like we are musical soul mates. I recently gave him a piece of fan art I drew when he played at Ministry of Sound Club here in Sydney last weekend. I hope he liked it!
