Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I am just your normal everyday working class guy from Grater Manchester, UK.
I work in the steel industry and this helps to fund my hobby/ past time & passion that is Djing and mixing music.
i started getting a passion for music back in primary / lower school when my mum and dad kindly paid for me to have drum lessons witch i had throughout school until i was in high school and swapped my hobby of drumming into a passion for finding the newest music and playing them on my mobile phone at break times for my school friends. Soon i decided i would ask my parents if i could have a set of turn tables and after quite some time my dad finally agreed to buy me what would be my first EVER set of DJ decks, fair enough they was a cheap set of belt-drive turn tables as he said i would most lightly be board of them next week anyway a couple of month pasted and he was wrong i used them most days to try and beat match and i found this very hard at first but that just made me want to do it even more i was watching video's online and learning myself from that.
It was after my dad had seen i had a true passion for music and that i really wouldn't ' move onto my next hobbies ' that he bought me a set of Numark CD Decks and this was the game changer as i had every track i wanted to mix available on Cd.
After several days i could mix to tracks with ease and this is when i started to tell people that i could DJ and inviting them around to my house to see what i could do.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
After i had taught myself how to mix 1 track into another i wanted everyone to know so i told anyone that would listen.
Soon enough i got chatting with one of the local older lads who also is DJ and he invited me around to the studio where himself and another local DJ ' Chris ', produced music together under the name ' Klub Killaz' and this was the big turning point in my DJ career.
My original style of music would be ' Bounce ' or ' Donk ' but now i was spending time with the Klub Killa lads i was finding myself enjoying house music a lot more, I soon started to mix this myself and haven't looked back since.
With help from Jamie & Chris i managed to secure some booking for local house events and even some mini festivals.
Even a Local Nightclub hired me as resident DJ working every Friday & Saturday night, unfortunately after around 10 months of this i had to leave due to other work commitments and hear i am today..
What´s new right now?
As it stands at the moment i don't have any bookings for the rest of 2017 However i am enjoying doing new mixes and uploading them to my soundcloud to share and get feedback from my followers. 2017 has been a really busy year for with non music related things but i have set a goal for 2018 and i wont stop until i hit it !
