Please tell us a bit about yourself and your label. Where are you based, what genres & styles do you cover… And when/how how did it all start?
First of all, thanks to Traxx24 for inviting me to answer your questions. I'm Juan Fleitas, CEO and A&R at Electricity, a Dance music label made by friends who love music. We're from Treinta y Tres, Uruguay and we're working in the music industry since 2014. We work in Electricity with all kind of Dance & EDM genres. Electricity born with the idea to create a place for supporting and empower the artists music careers from Uruguay but currently we work with artists from all around the world.
What are some releases our audience simply must check out? (Either new stuff or evergreen classics)
Well, in Electricity we love all our releases and artists alike. Of course, personally I prefer all new stuff because has better sounds and quality . Recently I'm listening the new releases and I'm really excited with unreleased tracks and I hope our audience enjoy them. At the moment, we're working with new artists and genres like trap music for our new album, in my opinion, it's gonna be the best album ever released from us.
Are you looking for new artists to sign or collaboration partners? (Be it media partners, remix competitions or otherwise?)
Yes, of course. It's always a good idea expand the family with new artists and music, we love receive new talents in our label. About partners we are usually available to listen ideas or have a partnership with labels or YouTube channels. We love to meet new brands and people in this industry.
