Check out and share our kacper kawala Interview. This interview is part of our new Producer & Engineer Q&A Series. In this interview series we feature exciting producers, mixing and mastering engineers from all walks of life. As always: Share & Support!
Please introduce yourself real quick. Tell our audience about your background and how you go into doing what you´re doing right now.
Hi, I’m kacper kawala. I was born and raised in Canada by my Polish parents. As I was a little boy, my parents would strictly listen to disco polo. I think that’s is what really got me into electronic music. At the age of 11 I downloaded a crack of fl studio and started making dank trance beats with stock sounds and no previous experience. End result was terrible, so terrible that I gave up.. Once high school came I started getting more into the music industry djing weddings and school dances. Which helped me understand how music works on the dance floor and the science behind mixing.
Please tell our audience what projects have you been working on in the last years?
My favourite and most memorable project is Diplo and GTA – Boy oh Boy (Kacper Kawala Remix) It had international support by huge artists like David Guetta, Dyro, HEFF and tons more. It was listened to 2.5 million times as of date and hit 1 million just months after release. I Really knew I had a banger when I was working on it. It was not even the best quality of production yet it was so good people didn’t care. After releasing that remix I was overwhelmed with new followers and support.
What are you currently working on? Do you accept clients and and what kind of projects/work fits your profile?
I am currently working on some original music with local vocalists. Also considering to make another fresh remix to hit the clubs near you!
