Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
I started my career back in '78, it's been a 40 year rollercoaster ride with many highlights. Opening for Jay-Z & Rihanna, Missy Elliott, EW&F, Kool & The Gang and being one of the last DJs to play for Prince @ his Melbourne afterparty. Numerous #1 Platinum & Gold albums, endless tours & playing major festivals including Summer Days & Future Music Festival. I currently mix & produce a weekly
Deep House Radio show called "Blow Ya Speakers' blowyaspeakers.podomatic.com i'm also signed as an artist to Nu Disco label Chopshop Music.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My early influences were the electronic disco pioneers. Gino Soccio, Patrick Cowley, Giorgio Morroder. Then with the house explosion, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Levan, Satoshie Tommie, Massive Attack, Ben Watt, Masters At Work and today M.K, Claptone, Purple Disco Machine & Lovebirds. I started my career as a Disco DJ moving into hip hop through house & dance n the 90s and i'm currently playing Deep House.
