Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?

So I am Jonas Rasku, aka Kristianex, a 17 year old DJ/Producer from Halmstad, Sweden. I have been producing music now for about 6 years. What I mainly produce all falls in under the genre of EDM, though I focus mainly on groovy, funky, disco and big room types of tracks. For now I mainly just produce music, I haven't really gotten a good shot at playing in front of a big crowd yet, but I have played at some smaller parties.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

In the beginning of my musical career the biggest inspirations and influences I had were guys like Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Hardwell and Dannic, and today I still see these incredible artists and producers as huge influences to me, my music and my career. In the early stages I was into the main big room-scene a lot, with hard hitting kicks and distorted melodies, but over time my taste has moved on to a bit more groovy stuff with high energy. I still enjoy a good big room track (and actually anything that sounds good, genre doesn't matter) but my absolute favorite genre that I love producing is groovy house.

What´s new right now?

At the moment myself and a couple of friends actually decided to restart my own record label called Zyde Records. We've already released two tracks, one made by myself called "Indigo" and one by super-talent Sofus Wiene called "Ponytale". We have a lot more music in store for this year, so keep an eye out.

Personally I have a collab coming on a big label next month, nothing further I can really say about that. Other than that I also have some other collabs and solos in the works, some of which already have gotten support by some big artists in the scene.

Yes! Hardwell, since his music and energy on stage has always in my opinion been overall amazing.
