Please introduce yourself real quick. Tell our audience about your background and how you go into doing what you´re doing right now.
I'm KUNZ-I, aka Kunal Kulkarni. I was born in Pune, India but raised in Zambia, Africa. I currently reside here in India. I basically started playing the Indian classical drums and came up all the way learning the musical keyboard and as well as music production as a whole. I try to find a way to break the mainstream sort of sounds to create fusions of different genres like Indian Classical and EDM. Getting introduced to the production part took a while as it wasn't so easy to understand every aspect of what and actual melody and track should sound like. But getting to know each structure of a song, synthesis, sampling, arrangement, composition and creating melodies was what drove me into making the genres I do now like Electro House, Future Bass, Trap, Progressive House. Creating my first album last year was one milestone that I wanted to par and I have many more singles too. Memorable moments of all these years has been signing a contract with a record label as well as doing a couple of gigs in Zambia. The entertaining part for me is just EDM may be a little typical at times but it sure can give you the kick and the pump to bring the roof down. There are many projects on the way and you will soon see them hitting the social media.
Please tell our audience what projects have you been working on in the last years?
In the few years I've concentrated and specialized on quite a lot of genres like RnB, Electro House, Progressive House and Tropical House specifically. I am trying to find new ways to the tracks as well as a different approach to the arrangements as well as tones and sounds. I also did some projects that I've mixed and mastered for other clients which involves the genres mentioned above. I've also done some tracks which include Punjabi and EDM fusions.

What are you currently working on? Do you accept clients and and what kind of projects/work fits your profile?
As of now I've been working on some music alongside a singer and friend which includes Punjabi music and EDM and its fusion. Also, I've been trying to work more on different sounds with the typical arrangements but trying to add more flavours and also coming up with huge projects as well as gigs with a new band that I'm in where we fuse Progressive Rock and EDM creating original compositions.
I am always welcome to clients and hence I have also opened up a website to provide artist services such as digital artworks, mixing, mastering, recording and video editing. The website is called thetuningforks.com .

Just listening to different artists that are not really famous either and looking for new genres and trends.

What is your number one tip to improve your music production or songwriting skills?
Listen to many different songs. Find your creativity from within. Try to recreate what you hear in your head and try imagine what it would sound like using your intuition.
