Photographic work includes event photography, portrait and a wide variety of other styles. Shot in both digital and film.

How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?

I have always been fluid around genres. Rock, Jazz, Indie classics to future beats, city-pop, neosoul, baile funk. Recently into music related to my Photographic work from the East Asia region. Global citizen with heavy influence and taste for hiphop and rap in Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Cantonese.

What´s new right now?

I have a lot of music/art event curating in Tokyo. Projects with the Chilly Source label music events on a monthly basis. I am also leading 4 personal projects and galleries coming up in the next 7 months taking place in Mitaka, Tokyo. Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?

TA-KU from Australia has always been an idol. Real creative who challenges himself constantly not only in music as a DJ, but as a photographer too.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?

Giving up on music.
I played the saxophone in my teens but I decided to quit it for photography. Regret having to choose one over the other instead of both.

Biggest challenge is to create my own fan base. As a photographer, I’ve always been behind the shadows of other musicians who I work or support for.

We meet again in one year. What has changed?

I have a concrete plan this year where I would be busy every month with music event curating, shooting, hosting art festivals, and creating my own photographic work for galleries and festivals. I am also planing to go to Finland in February, and Hong Kong in March for Photographic documentary works and personal projects. I do not have a big vision, but I see my self progressing. Improving my craft as a curator and photographer step-by-step, one better than the previous to seek perfection in my craft and improve as an artist.
