Exclusive Interview With Kyeda

Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hi. I'm Kyeda, but my friends and parents call me Jordan. I have lived in multiple places across the world and have taken different ideas from those places to create my own spin on modern style. This style is included in everything I wear, do, or make, especially with the music I create. I love to make extravagant, beautiful music, but always create sounds as unique and otherworldly as possible. It is important for me to always capture a feeling for the audience to take away from after hearing a song.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I would say my top 4 influences for artists are currently;
Family and Friends
My greatest influence of all time, however, is when I moved to Japan. That experience not only changed my life (for the better), but it gave me an array of motivation to get into music again. The music that I was introduced to their was for the first time EDM. In which, I instantly fell in love, before EDM I was recording friends rapping in my homemade closet studio loll. Anyways, over time I have produced so many genres and my tastes in music never stop morphing and evolving. Now I create something I like to call Psychedelic Bass. You can call it whatever though because I really just try to make what I would like to hear from a song and hope people like it.
What´s new right now?
A lot of interesting things are going on! I recently just released a track named "Abyss" which is about a person fighting for their life, after drowning. I used a sample from a super cool movie named Abyss. The song, however, has a lot of meanings behind it which you can find a full description about on my Facebook Page. Currently, I am working on my next release in which I just finished the mix/master for though. I am planning on an early December, late November release for that one (it will be on my SoundCloud below). In addition on November 12th I am releasing my first Mix called Sea of Sound 001 and on November 16th I will be releasing a Live Set that goes along with my latest release. So definitely check it out everyone, Thank You!
I tend to listen to a lot of iHeartRadio and see who is sounding like the style I make. Otherwise, I tend to just keep a centralized group of people I like and I observe their likes, reposts, and collabs.
Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?
"I make sure I throw it in my latest mix. A lot of times I find music just for mix purposes and will change up my style for the mix, making me really consciously listen to anything that might fit that timbre within my genre.
