Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Hey Guys! My name is LIIX and I’m a 17 years old dj/music producer from Germany.I’ve been producing for over three years now and my Main Genre is Electronic Dance Music but I also like to do Ambient . For people who are interested in music production I use the program Fl Studio 12 for producing my Tracks.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I was always a big fan of rap/ hip hop and Rock. My favorite rapper were people like Eminem and Kanye West but also NWA. My favorite rock bands were Linkin Park and Nirvana. In the age of 13 I started to get interested in electronic music. I started listening to people like deadmau5, skrillex, Martin Garrix and more. With 14 I started to make my own music, I downloaded the Fl Studio demo and started to make something.I couldn’t save my projects so I bought the full version of Fl Studio 12. At the beginning it was very hard for me I searched many things on YouTube for example how to mixing or mastering a track. Big inspiration was and still is for me deadmau5 his music and his production skills are insane but I was also inspired by Martin Garrix, Zedd and Calvin Harris. I’m a big fan of Ambient I always loved the Ambient movie Soundtracks so one day I started a project called “Thunder N Rain” that was my first step into ambient. With 16 I had my first gig in the school of a friend, it was a back2back with my bro ify he’s also an music producer by the way. Now I’m 17 and still do electronic music I’m getting better everyday and learning more and more. Now I make Progressive House and Future Bass. I hope that people like it.
What´s new right now?
Yes I dropped my new single “Future in Past “ couple of weeks ago on Soundcloud and you can wait for some cool remixes of Tracks like “wolves” by Marshmello & Selena Gomez and “Forever” by Martin Garrix & Matisse and Sadko.

Yes I’m a super fan of deadmau5. I love his music and I watched how he’s producing in his stream it’s insane.

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
Copying somebody. An important advice for people who are starting with making music do not copy someone it’s ok to get inspired but don’t copy stay yourself true.
