Hi. As You know my name is M8ght – you can read it as Mate. Number 8 is my favorite and lucky number. You can also call me M.
I'm producer of eclectronic music, and rapper. Why eclectronic? Becouse I work on many difference styles and moods. From Chillout, trough rap, funk, techno to Drum&Bass and some experiments. I'm trying to find some balance between many genres and have fun from what I'm doing. I'm makeing music in underground almost about 10 years. I always want to feel free, and You smell the freedome in underground. But my apetite is much bigger than erlier. Now is not only fun. It's a kind of mission. ?
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
Yeah. People are changing. A specialy in perceive of music and art. In last 10 years of makeing music I was under influences of my childchood, but i didn't understand a lot of music. Oldies, classic music, experiments. I was afraid of music. Now the old music is more affordable for me. I find some new spaces and meanings in old songs, and I'm not afraid of searching some new vibes. There a lot of new genres and styles. My influences for yeras was electronic music from '80 '90 and '00. Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Prodigy, Apollo 440, Rammstein, High Contrast, J.M.Jarre, M.Oldfield, L.U.C, Massive Attack, Moby, Kaliber 44, Apex Twin, Bjork, Enigma and oldies like Deep Purpple, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Vangelis. In my Home everyone had some good music taste. My Father loved oldies rock, my Mom – she was the jazz and blues. And my older Brother was the whole electronic and new wave of music. Is there someone else who's still listening artist I just enumerate?
What´s new right now?
Now i have a big turn in my life. Some new music equipment in house, refine my rap and mixing skills, learning some new tricks and playing piano. In 2018 I will have 30 years old. As I said before, 8 is my favorite number, so I'll make 8 rap albums in one year. They all will telling something about me in another way. There will be surreal-rap, oldschool, fun-rap, hot LP in kind of g-funk, dark-trap, psychodelic, jazzy and nature.

Are you a superfan of anyone? How did you become a superfan? Do you remember how you become a fan and what turned you into super fan? Have you ever thought about why you´re such a fan?
Yeeaaah! I'm SUPERFAN of lot of musicans. For example L.U.C – Polish singer, music producer! He is like alien from space in trippy jazz costume. Most talented artist in Poland. He have hard lirycs, but always smart and with some taste! He make interesting videoclips, and live shows. You need to check him!! ?

What was the biggest mistake you made when you started making music and what would be the number one tip you could give to a newcomer musician?
It was I though that in underground I'll be happy with my music, but no. I need to show it to others. I know I'll find people who will like what I'm doing. But I need to be more confident.
If You want to be in music industry, don't be shy. Be confident and do the show!

What has been your biggest challenge right now? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so, how?
My biggest chellenge is learning piano, but I love it! Most beauityful instrument in the world! And second one is the experimental moody-swing, trippy EP with Jezzy C. It's very hard music to rap.

How do you personally discover new music?
Through underground forums, fanpages on facebook, by my friends (we send to each other music we find or create), clicking randomly on Youtube songs and listening to mixes by moods. I find a lot of grat DnB or CHillout in those mixes. And i also always have with my Shazaam. You can fin a lot of interesting music in city space. ?

Once you discovered new music, do you tell others about the new music/artist you discovered? If yes, how exactly?
“If the song reely moves me, and I think it will move some of my friends I send a message wit it. Sometimes I post about it on FB, but i saw that people are still afraid off checking new music.

Yes. I want to make a few albums, maybe make some deal with label. Make a few videoclips and big concert in may. I hope i'll make it ?
