Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
My name is Mauro Mor, 19 years old and I am based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Rotterdam is an interesting place to live because it has a vibrant music scene which is still developing . It’s a good place to be for me. Clubs to go to and places to network with people who are creating and enjoying music like I do. At the moment I am balancing college with setting up my dj/production company: Divinity Sounds. My taste in music is eclectic, from 80s funk to Modestep, but I currently listen a lot of Afrotrap, Dancehall, and EDM/Trap. It is popular at the gigs I play, so I use those styles in my mixes.
I have been dj-ing professionally for a year now and I am slowly making the switch from small parties to bigger venues. My current goal is to produce my own material and find a residency at a local club so I can expand my fan base.
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
My influences are my parents who listen to a wide variety of music. So I grew up listening 80's funk, Fleetwood mac, Ghanaian Hiplife, HipHop, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, bands like Spandau Ballet with a splash of Jazz. In recent years I am influenced by producers/djs like Yellow Claw, Modestep, Frnkie, Esko, and Martin Garrix.
I don't think my taste changes over time, it has expanded and evolved.

I subscribe to multiple channels on youtube, soundcloud, and mixcloud. Djs and producers send me new material to listen to.
