Please tell our readers who you are and what you do?
Starting as an indie and releasing music when cassette tapes were still around, Menios Symeon has been releasing original music since 2001. His first recording was an instrumental collection recorded at home using simple keyboards. nonetheless inspiration never left and many years later he recorded his first album named Panselinos (Full Moon) with 10 original songs, written, arranged produced and performed by him alone. Over the years he has released 5 original albums plus a three volume instrumental collection called the Stockholm Sessions. He is also an avid remixer of others peoples songs whenever the opportunity arises
How would you describe your influences and how have they changed over the years?
I have been influences a lot by the 70s 80s and 90s pop and rock music. Around 2014 when I have setup my own recording studion I have been heavily influenced by electronic production. I also the French school of electronic music and I genrally enjoy a soulful song no matter what the genre. I also will never say no to a soothing acoustic session.
What´s new right now?
I have released my latest DIY album in September 2017 called Roses do not bloom on winter. It's a free download from my website and also available for full streaming on Soundcloud.
